PT-inspired psychological horror game

Fractured Mind is a free adventure title for PC made by indie developer ACID. It is a first-person psychological horror experience inspired by the cult classic P.T. game by Konami. It tells the harrowing ordeal of a special agent who has been suffering adverse mental effects after recent events and missions, calling for the need for psychological evaluation.

Post-traumatic

Fractured Mind centers around Special Agent Michael, a tactical team leader of a special operations unique who is experiencing severe PTSD issues after the events of a recent mission. He will undergo extensive psychological evaluation, and you will bear witness to all this through the perspective of body cam footage.

The game will primarily take place inside a subway train and you will see how Agent Michael's psyche slowly warps reality, seeing all kinds of disturbing visions. Before diving in, just be aware that the game is still in active development and this is just a demo offering a preview. Unfortunately, there is also no specific release date yet, so you'll have to wait a while longer.

Disturbing and atmospheric

To sum up, Fractured Mind is a disturbing yet engrossing dive into the mind of one who deals with the trauma of their deeds. It's cleverly written, boasts impressive visuals, and is simply a must-play for fans of the classic P.T. game and psychological horror games, in general. Here's to hoping the full game releases sooner rather than later. Highly recommended.
